On February 25, 2023, Nebiyou Timotewos became the director of York University's largest faculty, elected by the 50,000-strong undergraduate student body. Starting his term on May 1, 2023, Nebiyou is committed to bringing positive change not only to his faculty but to the entire campus. His leadership focuses on fostering collaboration, academic excellence, and a supportive environment for all. Nebiyou envisions a university where every individual is empowered to excel and actively seeks input from the diverse university community to shape a brighter future for York University.
